Inviting a waitee to book
Now that your waiting list has filled with a good selection of waitees, when a space becomes available in one of your classes, you'll probably want to reserve it for someone on your waiting list. This allows you to prioritise the people on your waiting list over anyone else finding your classes on the public listings (find a class listing and your partner page).
To do this you'll need to invite one of your waitees to self-book, and this can be done from your waiting list page or from the qualifying waitees list on the class page.
Inviting from the waiting list page
When viewing your waiting list select the Send invite option from the waitees drop-down menu.
You'll then be asked to select the term and class you'd like to invite the waitee to book onto before clicking Send invite. Only classes which have a space will appear in this list to ensure noone is ever invited to self-book onto classes which are full.
The waitee will then receive an email containing their unique link to self-book. This unique link will take them to their own private self-booking page for them to complete their booking.
Inviting from the class page
Inviting a waitee from the class page works in exactly the same way to inviting from the waiting list page, the only diference is the class you invite the waitee too is preset based on the class you're viewing.
The waitee will receive the same email containing a unique link to self-book onto the class.
PLEASE NOTE
You should only ever invite a waitee to self-book onto classes that have space available, and you should never send more invites than there are spaces available, otherwise you will end up with customers being unable to book onto classes they've been invited to.
Invite email
Here is an example of the invite email the waitee will receive that contains their unique Book Now link.
When an invite is declined
As you can see in the example email above, the waitee also has the option of declining the invite if they no longer wish to book. This will notify you (to the provider email address you've set in Settings) that the invite was declined and the waitee will be immediately removed from your waiting list, freeing up the reserved space in the class.
PLEASE NOTE
It's important to keep track of when an invite is declined so that you can then invite the next waitee in the list. Otherwise, the space in the class will open back up for self-booking and if there's any qualifying waitees, they might lose out on the place.
