Configuring a classes age range

Class age ranges are a great way to restrict the participants who qualify and can book onto one of your classes.

Age ranges on DoDays are as flexible as you need them to be, and even cater for whether someone is pre-school or in school.

When creating a class, under Learning, there’s options for both minimum and maximum ages:

These can be set in weekly, monthly or yearly intervals, and can be mix and matched i.e. minimum 6 months, maximum 2 years.

Pre-school

If you’re needing to restrict your class to only those who haven’t started school, you will see the Pre-school option when selecting a maximum of 4 years. This means any 4 year old who’s birthday falls before 1st September won’t qualify as they will have started school.

In school

If you’re needing to restrict your class to only those who are in school, you will see the option for In School when selecting a minimum of 4 years. This means any 4 year old who’s birthday falls on or after 1st September won’t qualify as they won’t have started school.
