Publishing a class

When you first create or duplicate a class, the new class will initially be hidden from the public. This means that any bookings that have either been duplicated with the class, or created since, will also be hidden through association.

The reason behind this is to give you time to prepare your class without it being public, so you can then publish it to your customers when you're ready.

When a class is hidden you'll see a yellow "Hidden" flag in the class list. To publish the class simply select the "Publish class" option from the class drop-down menu.

Possible side effects

If a class is hidden these can't be found by your customers and the bookings in this class won't feature in their Family Portal. As well as this, any costs associated with these bookings won't be included in the balance the customer sees, which may cause some confusion.

PLEASE NOTE

The term the class falls in also needs to be public in order for the class to be made public.
