Creating a class to run monthly
Currently DoDays only allows you to run classes on a daily or weekly schedule, not a montly one, but there is a sneaky workaround we can use to set up a class to run once a month.
Firstly, create a class as you normally would with a schedule running for only one session, this being the first day you want the class to run on. Be sure to select the class to run on a daily schedule rather than weekly.
Once your class is created navigate to view the class and you'll see it currently has just one session in the Attendance schedule. You'll also notice the Add session to schedule button, we're going to use this to create the remaining monthly sessions.
Clicking the Add session to schedule button takes you to a page to pick a date you want the next session to run on, select a date in the following month and click Add.
You'll now see this new session in your Attendance schedule, as well as the class details updated to reflect this change. Repeat the process of adding more sessions to your schdule for every month you want this class to run and you'll end up with a class running to a monthly schedule.
This class works in exactly the same way as a daily or weekly schedule, so you're safe to advertise and open this up to your customers through self-booking.
