Turning on session reminders
For providers wanting to keep their customers well informed, you have the option of turning on session reminders. These reminders are sent every day at 6pm the day before an upcoming session, for all sessions in a class.
You can turn on session reminders for your account on the Notifications page under Settings, ensuring the Session reminders checkbox is ticked before clicking Update.
Once you have enabled session reminders for your account, each customer will then need to opt in to receive these notifications. This can be done in the Family Portal on their My account page, toggling the Session Reminders switch to green for your account.
Once you and your customers have enabled session reminders, they will then receive an email notification at 6pm the day before an upcoming session, reminding them when and where to attend their next session.
If you already have existing customers and are turning this setting on, you may want to communicate the need to toggle the Session Reminders switch on to your customers. Feel free to use any content in this article, and/or link directly to it to support your customers.
PLEASE NOTE
Reminders are only sent for sessions that haven't been cancelled, and for sessions in classes that are visible to the customer.
